FIFTY24SF heading to LA for the Juxtapoz Benefit Party!!

LAGUNA POSTER

Yesterday FIFTY24SF piled into various vehicles and headed south for the winter. Err... the week. Our first stop is the Laguna Art Museum to support our dear friend Jeremy Fish and then we're off to help set up for the Juxtapoz 15th Anniversary and Benefit Party!!

We popped in late night at Sa Studios to drop off some final works for the benefit auction and to check out the lay of the land for the event.  Things are looking seriously good.  And by "good" we mean pool in the middle of the event site,  copious amounts of mind blowing art, and badass DJ's  good.

The Juxtapoz Benefit Party will be hosted next Sat. November 14th and is open to the public.

So, If you're in the La area next weekend, first on your list should be the Jux event.  If you know the magazine, you know they've got great taste. Pair that with the go big or go home attitude of Sa Studios and you've got a recipe for greatness...

Jeremy Fish @ Laguna Art Museum November 8th

Jeremy Fish- long time friend and valued member of the Upper Playground and FIFTY24SF family. Incredibly talented illustrator and painter. Humble and genuine. Innovative, fresh, intriguing, humorous, prolific; these are all words and phrases that immediately pop into mind when we think of Jeremy Fish.

Yet, none of these words are big enough to describe the level on which this guy functions. Most people can tell you that they've never seen Jeremy give only 50% to a project. In fact we've never seen him invest any less than 200% in everything he does.

If you were lucky enough to experience "Ghosts of the Barbary Coast" last December, you know that when Jeremy goes for it, he goes the distance.

Which is why we are immensely proud to announce the opening of his first Museum exhibition, "Weathering the Storm" at the Laguna Art Museum this coming Sunday, November 8th.

Jeremy Fish has spent a lifetime making beautiful artwork. We've watched his steady ascent and are proud to acknowledge and support this momentous step in his career.
